Always use the subjunctive after Il faut que

Fill in the blank with the correct form of the verb boire:

👉 Il faudra que je _______ six verres d’eau par jour.

👉 Il faudra que je boive six verres d’eau par jour.

When you begin a sentence with Il faut que, you must follow up with a subject and a verb in the subjunctive. In this example, the verb falloir is in the futur simple tense, and it has an irregular stem.

👉 Translation: I will need to drink six glasses of water per day.
