Did you know? Fairs are also called fêtes foraines or “foires” in French  and are annual traditions in France. The most famous French fair is certainly the “Foire du Trône” in Paris. This fair dates back to the year 957! At that time it was called “the gingerbread festival”.  Today it is more than 300 attractions on 10 hectares! The “Foire du Trône” has been cancelled again this year because of the pandemic, so see you next year for the amateurs.
