Did you know? According to the French Ministry of Justice, theft is the appropriation of property or a thing belonging to a person, against his will. There are several forms of theft, all of which are punishable by law. The victim can file a complaint so that the perpetrator can be prosecuted. The penalties are increased in case of breaking and entering: use of force to enter a closed place, violence or use of a weapon. Additional penalties can be added to the main penalties. You must be well protected with good locks and a security system if possible and be well insured.
