Did you know? In France in 2018, 845 people were victims of homicide (including intentional assault and battery followed by death), or 1.3 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants. Just over one-third (35%) of these victims were women. The most affected age groups are 30-44 year olds (1.7 victims per 100,000 people), followed by 15-29 year olds (1.6 victims per 100,000 people in this age group.  By comparison in 2018, the murder rate in the United States was 5 per 100,000, for a total of 15,498 murders.

With LLL, each week you get 3 downloadable lists of the words in French and English, a “Did you know?” in French and a Quizlet study set to learn, practice, and master them all. Quizlet is a platform for learning vocabulary that’s based on flashcards, but what has really made an impression on me is how fun it makes learning new language content! Click here for details.
